Maximum - Minimum Temperature

The highest temperature is 108 degrees, the lowest temperature depends on the initial temperature of the room, you can expect to feel up to 10 degrees cooler than the room temperature.

Is it washable

The Smartduvet layer is made of high tech nylon which can be easily washed with a wet cloth. In theory you wouldn't need to wash it since it's inside your duvet cover, but it can be washed by hand.

Does it include a duvet

No need to buy a new duvet, the Smartduvet is made to work with your current duvet.

We offer air tube extension - Size of control box

We offer an extension for clients with boxed bed to allow them to place the control box on either side of the bed instead of under. The control box is 10in x 9in x 3.5in in height.

What is the platform selection? Can I select more than 1 app/ operating system?

The Smart Home Platform is simply a poll around which they would prefer. The project creators are going to first develop one and then work on the others, but want to prioritize the most popular first. Answering the poll will only be counted one time for backers, even those who opted for multiple items. The selection isn't relevant to the rewards.

When is shipping slated to begin?

We had expected the electrical certification to be near completion at this time, but unfortunately this latest modification will delay electrical certification by a few weeks, postponing shipping to February. Rest assured that instead of delivering a beta version to our backers and then revamping the whole product for the retail market, we are fully committed to delivering a retail ready product with all the quality and refinement similar to those of well established electronics brands.

I ordered on Shopify- why do I need to do a survey?

The survey is your true order confirmation for selecting your item size and entering shipping information. This needs to be completed before your order can be in queue for delivery. Delivery is slated for February 2018.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the project is locked down for shipping. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.

Why can’t I log into my account?

Request a login link to your survey by entering your email here:

BackerKit will send you an automated email with an invite link to whatever email you pledged with.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

When will my pledge will be shipped, charged or locked down?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

Can I upgrade or get multiple copies of my pledge?

This depends on the project creator’s decision. If you are unable to see the ‘Want to switch your pledge level?’ after clicking on your pledge amount under “Pledge Level” in your survey, then the project creator would prefer people not to switch pledge levels.
